Our Story
Founded in 2005, Michael Benedetti Studio was built on Michael's early career in hospitality, public relations, live entertainment, and event production. Beginning as a General Manager and Director of Public Relations & Promotions for premier venues and landmark events—including OZ New Orleans, Blake's on the Park Atlanta, Gay Days Disney, White Party, and Memorial Weekend Pensacola—Michael developed the relationships, operational expertise, and creative vision that would become the foundation of one of the industry's most respected boutique entertainment companies.
Over the past 26 years, Michael has contributed to some of the world's most recognized tours, productions, and live events, including projects associated with Madonna's Confessions Tour, Sticky & Sweet Tour, and MDNA Tour; Britney Spears' Piece of Me; Shakira's Oral Fixation I and II; MTV Productions; Dancing with the Stars; the Super Bowl in New Orleans; World Pride; and Fashion Week events in New York, Milan, Paris, and Rio de Janeiro.
Michael was the first agent/broker to represent and develop talent from RuPaul's Drag Race, working alongside winners and fan favorites beginning with Season 1 and helping shape the modern era of drag touring.
Today
Today, Michael serves as Founder & Executive Producer of Michael Benedetti Studio, where he develops original live entertainment brands, national concert tours, and large-scale productions.
Current projects include:
RYOT TOUR – A premium live concert touring brand featuring a full live band and four original touring series: ICONS, REBELS, UNPLUGGED, and ENCORE.
Artistry Brokers – A boutique entertainment agency specializing in artist bookings for festivals, casinos, theaters, corporate events, and live productions.
Mia Starr Dance – A national dance workshop series designed to inspire dancers of all levels through education, movement, and community.
EMO FEST – An upcoming live music experience celebrating the artists and anthems that defined a generation.
Together with Scott Mosher, Michael is also the co-founder of Life's a Drag, producers of Recovery OutLoud Festivaland OutLoud Comedy Festival, with a portion of RYOT TOUR proceeds benefiting Purple Mountain Recovery in support of addiction recovery, mental health, and community outreach.
While Michael's career began representing talent, today his passion lies in building original brands, producing unforgettable live experiences, and creating touring properties that connect artists and audiences in new ways.

Michael Benedetti is one of the entertainment industry's leading pioneers in LGBTQ+ talent, live events, and touring. For more than 26 years, he has built a reputation for discovering talent, producing unforgettable experiences, and creating brands that resonate with audiences around the world.
Throughout his career, Michael has represented and worked alongside some of the most recognizable names in drag, music, television, and live entertainment. As the founder of one of the world's largest LGBTQ+ talent agencies, he helped shape an era of queer entertainment by producing sold-out tours, festivals, theater productions, and live events while connecting audiences with the artists they love.
Known for his ability to discover emerging talent and build lasting careers, Michael has spent decades producing premium live experiences, representing performers, coordinating national tours, and developing long-standing relationships across the entertainment industry. His approach has always been driven by creativity, innovation, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to exceptional execution.
Today, Michael serves as Founder & Executive Producer of Michael Benedetti Studio, where he develops and produces original live touring brands and entertainment properties. Current productions include RYOT TOUR, a premium live concert touring brand featuring a full live band and original touring series, as well as Mia Starr Dance and the upcoming EMO FEST.
Michael is also the founder of Artistry Brokers, a boutique entertainment agency representing artists, live productions, festivals, casinos, corporate events, and special engagements throughout North America.
Together with Scott Mosher, Michael is the co-founder of Life's a Drag, producers of Recovery OutLoud Festival and OutLoud Comedy Festival, supporting the mission of Purple Mountain Recovery through entertainment, community, and advocacy.
